Watch not connected

I have been having this issue for quite some time but is now bothering me even more…
My Race looses connectivity to my IPhone 13.
I rely very much on the messages I get on my watch, but don’t always realize watch is disconnected from Bluetooth so I often miss out on important messages.
This has been happening with different IOS versions so I’m certain it isn’t related to iOS updates.It also happened on my vertical with same phone.
My son has a peak pro and is suffering from the same issue with an iPhone 15. He previously had the S9 and never had any disconnections…
I would appreciate any help / suggestions on how to overcome this problem.

@peegee is the watch losing Bluetooth connection or is the app killed by the phone’s battery management?
