      Hey there watch enthusiasts!

I’m new to Fitness/GPS watches and I’ve been having fun with the Race so far. In particular, I’ve enjoyed reviewing the data my watch collects on my activities in the app afterwards, but I’ve been having a tough time with the Pace, Cadence, Speed, and to a lesser extent the Vertical speed functions.

Using the Suunto App to overlay graphs of my Pace and Altitude, you can see that while the Altitude graph is working great, the Pace graph is mostly unusable.

For a bit of context, I’m in a coastal rain forest so maybe some canopy throws the watch’s ability to track Pace? For the bit at the end of the graph, I was on an open trail and a dirt road, going from a walk to a jog.

What do you guys think? Is there a way to clean some of the noise out of this data?

      Cheers and thanks!
