Time scales in Progress - Suunto App

Hi there! I was just curious about the options given for time scale in the Suunto App, section Progress. These feel quite arbitrary to me. Why 8 weeks, 8 months, 13 months and 8 years? Maybe these are tested, well known training workframes or something pros work with?
