Watch faces?
-
Hi. Since recent update I can’t find any watch faces in the SuuntoPlus Store.
Is this an issue for anyone else? -
@brian-hughes which app version do you have?
-
@isazi Hi isazi.
I updated app and watch faces are there now.
Thanks -

@isazi same issue on my device (latest iOS version 2.37.10) and my friend’s (Android). No where to find the watch faces in the store.
Extra Info: I’m on a 9PP

@RaDeck It’s a separate option when you scroll down from the watch sync screen, after the watch has finished syncing. It shows after the SuuntoPlus Sports Apps and before Structured Workouts. I assume it requires both the latest app and the latest firmware on the watch before it shows up.

@far-blue cheers for that! Not the best explanation on SUUNTO website as they mention finding it under the Suunto Plus Store. It is findable there but, for me at least, only ones I installed other watch faces. Which was quite ‘buggy’ at first

@isazi , not sure if others have got similar issues, but I’m feedbacking here so that hopefully it can help a few ‘lost souls’ out there
As mentioned in my Previous post, the option wasn’t available at first on my app on latest version. I soft reset my watch and re-started the app. Watch faces available but… with an empty screen. I had to sync my watch twice and do 3 restart of the app for it to appear (and finally on the store as well).
Seems to not be a common issue though…
Find some screenshots below: of the options appearing -
@RaDeck
maybe restarting the phone could have been faster -
@sartoric You are right. I was going to do that as a next step, but ended up not having to

@RaDeck There were a few other reports of the watch faces taking ages to show up or not sync’ing correctly initially after update. I wonder if there’s some sort of background process of “compiling” the watch faces for your watch as part of the sync which can sometimes be slow, especially when lots of people are updating at once. I sometimes wonder if that’s also the case with structured workouts and suunto plus apps which can sometimes be slow to view in the store or download/sync.

@far-blue I earlier had a Suunto 5 and upgraded to a Suunto Race. On My Suunto 5 I had updated a Sport to include Laps information: Lap time, lap distance, Stryd Power 3 sec and Stryp Power Average. In addition I’d like to be able to see things like “Estimated time to end of Navigation Route” and “Sunset” information on a “kayaking” or “Hiking” sport. I’ve not found any way of customizing Watch Faces or even to see an explanation of what information is available on which watch face (without guess work based on the look at Watchfaces in Suunto App Store. What guidance would the community have to me?

be careful. this thread is about watch faces the watch is showing when not recording an activity.
You are talking about screens during activity.
You can specify all the data you want (which is data to be shown within an activity) in the sport mode customization.
Just tap the watch icon in the top left of the home screen in Suunto App, and then choose “Sport Mode Customization”
