Backlight issue
-
After software upgrade to 2.35.34, the backlight always turn off (black screen)automatically ragardless of switching to force backlight on all the time. Only raising wrist activates can turn the backlight on again.
Thanks. -

if you are not moving your wrist during some (small) time, it is by design that the watch goes into black screen mode (as if you were not wearing it). -
@Mff73
Is it a new designed feature? Before 2.35.34, the screen can be light (low brightness) all the time.
In current 2.35.34, the screen also turn off after a while when charging, there is no such problem before.
I find below note in the user guide.
**NOTE:**You can also set the backlight to be always on. Scroll to Backlight in Settings or in the Control panel, and toggle the switch to force backlight on. -

as far as i know, it always been like this for all watches. But movement detection is quite sensitive.
i just tested it with my SV : try to keep my arm still and let the watch screen goes off, and just moving slightely and the screen goes on without backlight. -

I have contacted the online customer service and rolled back the software to previous version 2.33.16 by the guidance. The issue is not seen anymore, so the new feature should be introduced in the new version 2.35.34, but I don’t like it.
