Problems with Peak 9 Pro/2.35.34...?
-
Hi –
(apologies if this is a repost but I don’t see it on the site)
My Peak Pro 9 automatically downloaded version 2.35.34 last month.
In the last week or so I have started getting intermittent errors on my Peak Pro:
• It’s not tracking my sleep accurately
• It stopped automatically doing SpOx
• It keeps unpinning the widget I set up to show from the main button
• It shows instantaneous resources but doesn’t show the bar graph over time, and
• over the past two days it will just drop offline every 5-10 minutes and reset, wiping in-process/sleep/exercise tracking and re-downloading notifications.Every so often it will show an error message:
Error
1403
SW
2.35.34When that happens and I hit “Reset”, it “restores to a safe state”. When it comes back online it has the correct time (but with a different watch face) but resets all the tracking and logbook info since last week. It resets to last Saturday, including wiping my HRV settings (which means I will need to wait a week for it to figure out the thresholds again).
I have tried both hard (3x) and soft resets (I think it’s soft resetting itself at this point) to no avail.
I have also emailed Suunto Support but have not yet heard back.
Do you have ideas on what I can do to fix this? Is a patch coming soon?
I love the rest of the new software build but at this point my watch is unusable for tracking much of anything…
Thanks in advance!

@emac57 Sounds as if you may have a hardware issue. What firmware does the watch revert to after the restore? I would attempt to chat with support or fill out a warranty return ticket if the watch is under warranty. I would not think it is simply the firmware update.

@Brad_Olwin hi
It doesn’t actually revert, it comes up with the same software build (2.35.34).
Thanks for the advice, still waiting on Suunto to write me back…

@emac57 I would contact by chat or fill out a warranty request. I have not attempted email for support but had rapid responses via chat.
