Sleep Tracking - Any Issues?
-
After tracking sleep successfully for a number of days my Ocean did not track sleep last night. Has anyone encountered this issue, is there a cause/resolution?
-
@StuieD Yes. I did. But over many nights just once. And it worked again the following night.
-
@Patrick-Löffler-0 good to know, I can deal with once every now and then, but regularly would definitely be an issue.
-
@Patrick-Löffler-0 did it happen in the first few weeks and then stop, or has it continued to happen?
-
@StuieD It really just happened once. And I really thought about what I’d done differently that evening, night, morning. And I can’t tie it to anything special. I thought it was me, but that you experience the same makes me think. Anybody else?

@Patrick-Löffler-0 It’s been tracking for me perfectly so far. Even after one night after more beers than planned and higher Avg HR (62!! Compared to my 42-52)

Sleep tracking worked the following day. After searching the community, I did two changes, firstly I increased my resting heart to 55 in my personal settings, typically my RHR is mid to late 40’s and I also did a soft reset. Hopefully, that’s sorted. Good to hear others are not having issues.

@StuieD
I started to have issues, after the first 2 weeks or so.One night did not catch my sleep at all.
The following it said i only slept for 2 hours, but during the day it corrected that and yesterday night it only caught about 3 hours.

@diveman
Yesterday i did a soft reset and i increased slightly my rest ΗR το 62, from 60It registered my sleep but for too long.
Almost 8 hours, and especially yesterday i didn’t have a good sleep due to heat.I changed the value of my RHR again to 60, to check tonight

@Desdinova said in Sleep tracking not working:
@Jose have found the fix is simple. Switch Bluetooth off on the phone and re enable it when you wake up. I think the app has a bug in that if you do get up in the middle of the night and it syncs even though the watch will change the sleep time when you wake up properly the app won’t accept it.
Since I’ve done that sleep tracking has been excellent. Hopefully an app update is soon

@diogao13 my problem is tracking sleep when I’m not…I could be reading or watching TV and it comes up as I’ve had a nap!

Hi!
It seems that my Suunto Ocean has the same problem…
I have been logging sleep fine until the last update.
I have rebooted twice but it is not recording my sleep.
Have you fixed it?
Thanks!
