Step count wrong again

Hello,
Following the last update (2.35.34) the step count was waaayy better than before on the new s9pp of my wife.
But the battery drain seems to be faster than before so we decided to apply the normal process in that case
We discharged it until 10% roughly and made a full charge. At this moment, we did a soft reset.
The battery drain now act normally but the step counter act like before the update that fix it. It counts steps in many case whereas the software update fixed it.
Any idea of what can we do to fix this ?
