Heart Rate Belt unable to be found using Sports-Tracker

Hello, I have been a long time off and on user of the App (since the Nokia days), and have recently upgrade by heart rate monitor from an old Polar iWL to a new Coospo H9Z (duel Bluetooth & Ant+). I use my phone as a cycling computer and logger. I am able to connect the new HRM to multiple sports apps on my android with no issue, but cannot get it to connect with either the Sport-tracker or Suunto app, I have tried with multiple Androids.
I have tested on an Iphone (which is a completely different app to the Android version) and it connects no problem.
Is there an issue/ trick required for a Bluetooth HRM to connect to Sports-Tracker?
