      Hello,
I’m quite happy owner of Suunto Race (for almost 2 weeks). Unfortunately, I have a major issue connecting with a power meter. Pairing works smoothly but when I want to start the activity watch can’t connect to it and for that, it won’t receive data. Calibration in this case is also impossible of course…

      More information:

      • I double-checked that the sensor is enabled in activity settings
      • Inpeak power meter is able to send cadence data too. When pairing as Bike POD, cadence works nicely.
      • Soft reset is not helping.
      • Inpeak power meter works greatly with other devices (phone and cycling navigation device).

I hope someone can help me, this is quite important to me.

Do you have your power meter connected to a cycling computer (or phone) as well? If you do and the connection is using Bluetooth then the problem may be that your power meter only supports 1 Bluetooth connection. If your power meter and cycling computer also supports Ant+ then the solution is to use Ant+ for the power meter/cycling computer connection. The Race watch can then connect to your power meter using Bluetooth.

If this is not your problem then I don’t have any idea what the issue may be.
