contactless pay

does the s9pp have the ability to due contactless payments. ie samsung pay or google pay. i know other suunto models do but cannot find out any info on the s9pp if it does or not. thanks

@GiPFELKiND I don‘t know… I don‘t use SR, but I never read that any Suunto watch is able to pay with… in my opionion it is not necessary because I can use my iPhone for this if I want it… or (much better) I use cash

@GiPFELKiND NFC is just a communication protocol. Payments are just one very specific use of NFC. The presence of such a chipset means nothing.
Payments are not possible not because of some hardware problem, but because of the lack of an advanced and expensive software platform. Even the big companies like Garmin has some problems with this.For me, such a function in a watch is a simple waste of resources.

Suunto 7 can do this. As it is based on WearOS, Google Pay is available on the watch.

@Egika In the case of Suunto 7, payments were handled by Google (Google Pay), not Suunto itself.
In normal Suunto watches this is unrealistic without spending a lot of money.
