Self update timing and sleep sync issue

Last night my watch that decided to update at 2.45 a.m. with various reset and consequent vibrations.
In my opinion the timing should be reconsidered possibly executing it while the watch is charging (a condition that was true until moments before my bed time!).
Obviously I disabled the auto update option, now.
Annoyingly the application didn’t even sync my “nap”:
Apparently the update took 25’ in total to get the watch back to its functionality.
