Bug (freeze) with HR during a running activity
-
Hello everyone,
This afternoon, I did a trail run and my Race was connected to the Coros HR monitor. There was the symbol that it was connected to the watch before I started running and at first it worked. But after about 200m, the watch kept on displaying 114 bpm. I have another watch with which the HR monitor was paired and it worked well with the other watch. After about 500m trying to unfreeze it (I tried to go to the second data page, I tried pausing the watch), the HR was still frozen at 114 bpm. So I stopped the activity and ignored it as it was the first kilometer of my run. When I started another trail activity I had no problem.
Has anyone had the same kind of problem? Because it is the first time in 10 years of using GPS running watches that I have had this problem. It is important for me that there are no freeze on any data when I run.
And also I wonder why it happened. -

maybe the problem is related to this

@sartoric I don’t think so, the HR monitor can be connected to up to 3 bluetooth devices. And before I had a Polar Verity Sense which can be connected to 2 bluetooth devices and never had an issue. Moreover I finished my run with the same HR data on the two watches after I had restarted the activity, and the two were connected to the Coros HR monitor.

I’ve had a similar issue. Are you displaying averages or real time data? I have mine set to averages and was wondering if maybe it is related to that.

@TitaniumDave I use real time data for heart rate and it was like “stuck” on 114 bpm. At first I didn’t notice because I don’t look at the screen all the time but when I saw it was stil the exact same number after a few hundred meters I looked at my other watch who was displaying moving numbers and that’s when I noticed there was a problem with the Race

I can confirm that I also have the same problem on a Suunto vertical with the COROS HR bracelet. From time to time, I have big stalls and the BPM drops and gets stuck at a very low level.

@RuunIx use a suunto belt with my suunto watch. No Problems
