Suunto Race not syncing problem

Hi,

I just recorded activity simultaneously with Race and Ambit3 to compare recordings. However when I first synced activity with Ambit and then with Race it won’t sync activity from the Race. Is this because both activities have about three same start time so it thinks it’s already synced? Can I fix this somehow?

It depends on what do you mean for “fix it”
You very probably can’t sync both activiites, if you want to sync the Race one, delete the activity and it should (maybe) sync race.
Otherwise you can try uninstall reinstall after deleting the activity to force re-sync.

@Jouni-Sonninen : When you say sync : in the same app ? I guess you did, but did you switched from one watch to the other in the app to get the race synchronized ?

If you did, instead of deleting your activity, I would first try to unpair both watches, delete connexions in the watches and in phone, and pair the race again. Then try sync.

Thanks for the answers. I did switch from one watch to the other in the app to get the race synchronized. I could try the sync with another phone+app to see if I get it synced then. I will contact also the support if there is some way for them to activate sync again.

Pairing the Race with another phone+app did the trick and it synced the activity from the Race

@Jouni-Sonninen if the app (on the same device) sees the same activity (starting at the same time) from another watch it doesn’t sync it. If you start the two watches few seconds from each other you don’t have this issue.

Hi all, i have a similar problem: i decided to turn off my suunto race watch for 2 days and then turned it on to record a swim activity: this activity is visible in my logbook on my watch (as the last activity I have done) but the overall week count is still at 0h, and after many syncing operations with the app, the activity is still not uploaded. Might this be a bug? …
