yes, you need to use the custom battery mode of each sportsmode, and with this custom battery mode, there is an option to activate touchscreen. -
@flobru3101 yep! select any activity > battery mode > custom > touch

As i have already open a new thread, may i ask another question (yes i’m definitely new to Suunto. Just switched from a Forerunner245):
What algorithm is behind the display when it comes to turning it off completely?
Is there a way to force that? I can’t find a setting, where i can choose if the display should completely turn off after some time.
Thanks again!

@flobru3101 look into custom battery you’ll find it there
battery mode > custom > display timeoutavailable only during activities

@robis
Thanks for that fast anwser!
So it’s not possible to set a display timeout in general, when i’m not tracking an activity? -
@flobru3101 nope, after all we are on a MIP display…

So it’s not possible to set a display timeout in general, when i’m not tracking an activity?no. There is a timeout when the watch is not moved for a certain amount of time to hidle the screen, but it is turning on as soon as moved (like reposing on a shelf). But as you are wearing it, you may move it, and display is still on.
