My race crashed during an hike. 3rd time happening to me during an activity during the last 30 days. I sent my log to suunto every time. I don’t really want to do a hard reset… But if I need to, do my HRV will still be active on my watch ? I’m a little bit sad.

And the suunto guide + lap problem is still there even after the last update….

      What should I do ?

@fleblanc01 not normal! Are you on 2.30.38? Try a hard reset and yes, you will lose all data and custom sport modes. If that does not work contact support.

The lap guide issue was fixed in 2.30.38.

@fleblanc01 Last week my Race froze and then rebooted itself during a hiking activity the next day I installed the latest stable software. Usually, after every update I reboot my watch by holding down the upper button for about 12 seconds but this time I had forgotten to do it. I’ve never had any crashes on 9PP and this crash was the first on my Race. Hopefully, a soft reset will solve your problem and you won’t experience it again. Cheers

Thank you everybody, I will try a hard reset as already did a soft reset and it still happened… And the update seems to still not work… Thank you again

@fleblanc01 are you putting your watch on the charger when you update? I found that I needed to do that.

@DrSilverthorn I think I did not because I had more than 50%… I did a hard reset and everything is fine so far… Next time I’ll put it on the charger as you said. Thanks for the tip
