Race unresponsive

Hi All,
Just an update to everyone here that has recently bought a Suunto Race. I took delivery of mine on the 13th December and by the 25th December it became unresponsive. I have tried all of the suggested fixes, hold the upper button for 12 seconds etc, move the charging cable to another outlet, basically everything i can do to get some kind of response, unfortunately nothing, just a blank screen. I have booked a repair in the hopes that it can be fixed as i don’t just want to send it back and start again. If anyone else has a similar issue please let me know how you resolved it, my pick-up is on the 2nd Jan so got a few days.
