Suunto app on watch not running?

Hi everyone,
On a friend’s suunto 7 suddenly the activity tracking and stepcounting etc. Stopped working.
He can’t get a connection to the suunto app on his (i-) phone. However the wearos app says it is connected.
Restarting the suunto app on yhe phone didn’t help.
Restarting the watch didn’t help.
There seems to be a system update ready for download but the WiFi connection fails…Any ideas? Other than factory resetting the watch?

I have the same problem. Since morning the app is not running on the watch. Any idea… -

I had the same problem for the second time. Only reset of the watch helped.
Is there any possibility to re-instal the app on the watch? -
