Ambit 2: Polar Verity Sense Optical HR Sensor

Hi,
I’m thinking about buying Polar Verity Sense HR sensor to replace my HR chest strap. Will it works on Suunto Ambit2 ANT+ ? Recently I bought a cheap China unbranded optical HR sensor. Pairing (ANT+) with Suunto Ambit2 was not an issue, but the HR reading was unreliable. HR reading won’t go above 70bpm even if I’m doing intense running. Anyone has experience with Polar Verity Sense? Any other suggestion? Thank you.

I use the Polar Verity Sense with my S9B and S5 and it works perfectly. My longest duration till now is 9 hours and there remained still battery.
