Suunto 7 vs S9 non Baro HR accuracy?

Just took delivery of my S7 and after after less then 24 hours playtime I noticed that the HR reading in the S7 is somehow different to my old S9 non-Baro.
Quick glance at the HR minimum and resting revealed some interning numbers.
On my S9 I use to regularly get about Minimum HR of 53 and RHT of about 61
The new S7 is way below that which why I am trying to figure out if the S7 optical HR is very different from the S9 OHS.
S7 shows a minimum 44bpm whilst sleeping and and average of 56bpm.
Also the body resources seem different, I got a 100 recharge last night something I never seen before in my S9.
This could well be that the watch needs at least couple of day worn to bed to start calibrating itself.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

@optics-field-test there are indeed some differences in WHR for those devices.
- S7 has a totally different wrist HR hardware. It is known to be more accurate and stable
- S9 gets HR samples every 10min or so, while S7 is constantly sampling
This is why I would trust the S7 measurements more in your case.
resources are a bit different, as in S9 at least they are based on the resting HR you set in your personal settings. I am pretty sure that the S7 uses a different algorithm here as well.

Off topic: is it normal that my watch arrived completely dead no battery whatsoever in it?
