@patrick-löffler all I can say is that my jabra 65t do not work well with the S7. Regular dropouts.

Many earbuds have the bluetooth receiver antenna on one of the earbuds. If this earbud is on the opposite side compared to where you wear your watch, you may experience dropouts. So my suggestion would be to look for earbuds that have bluetooth receiver antennas on both buds or one that has the antenna on the same side you wear your watch.

I have the Nokia Power Earbuds which has the antenna on the right bud. When I wear the watch on my left wrist I may experience dropouts. When I wear the watch on my right wrist there is no dropouts.

@patrick-löffler I use Aftershokz Aeropex and have no issues whatsover.

I don’t know exactly where the antenna is for the Aeropex, but I never had any drop outs.

I also briefly tried my Sony WF-1000XM3 and they also worked well (both buds connect direct to the source, so reduced chance of drop outs).

A pinned post with a table of earbuds that work well with the S7 on the left wrist might be a good idea.

@aleksander-h Good idea, especially now that Spotify comes with offline music for our watches 🙂

Some of these have easily replaceable battery?
Some years back I had a JBL Reflect BT but it was “disposable”, in less that 1 year of use with an Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, batteries died and not other option than purchase a new one set.

@flypg I’ve had my Aeropex for roughly two years and they get a LOT of use. Battery is till holding up really well and doesn’t seem to have lost much (if any) capacity since new. I’m seriously impressed with these things!

                          Pay attention:

Some cheap earbuds that have ie a small antenna on one side might have dropouts if you wear the watch on the other arm , as your body creates a shadow for BT to work.

Aeropex have a circular antenna going all the way round the head
