[Resolved] I forgotten (again) to stop my activity... Best workaround?
-
@egika wow thanks i didn’t notice QS could Upload to SA, nice.
Maybe a “crop activity” function in SA like Strava added ?
-
i belive these tools work quite well to fix FIT files where there may be issues with the data:
https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/top -
@chrisc92 already requested, please vote if interested.

Thanks to everyone!
I will try to crop the .fit with a external tool to upload via QS. @Egika in addition to the link that @Jamie-BG suggest me, any other?
@isazi I already voted some long time ago on Ability to edit moves when we forget to stop it Thx!

@flypg I have successfully used exactly the posted tools!
-
@egika Done, works perfect! Thanks again to everyone

@bulkan said in [Resolved] I forgotten (again) to stop my activity... Best workaround?:
write in your hand “Stop the watch” maybe it can help.
or maybe something like the low battery “training soon” reminder: “stopping soon? don’t forget to stop the activity”

@freeheeler I will put a Suunto sticker on my car dashboard, sure it will remind me to check if I already stopped the activity , but @Bulkan suggestion is not discarded…
-
@flypg
great idea… unfortunately I tend to forget it more in situations when I do sports with friends and then they drive… I’ll ask them if they’re fine with a Suunto sticker at least most of them are Suunto guys -
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Question: If I doing these steps that I did:
- Download the Suunto FIT file on QS or SA
- Edit on FitFileTools
- Reupload the modified FIT using QS
It can cause some data lost from the activity or another collateral problem that I not took in consideration? Thanks!

Hello! I noted that if I follow my procedure, some field are lose, like:
- Total Training Effect
- TSS(hr)
- Recovery Time among others
Exist any other way to not lose this or to the watch/app calculate these values again based on the new “cutted” activity?
As you can see I continue forgetting to stop my activity after training…
Thanks!
