Not able to get GPS signal
-
Hi!
Updated the watch yesterday and now it is acting funky. I also cleaned the baro yesterday, but not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Now i can’t get a GPS-signal when starting an activity. I have tried sitting outside for a long time, but nothing. If I start the activity without GPS lock it seems to place me correct on the map, but the altitude us waaaaaaay off. Started a ski activity earlier today and it showed 32 000 meter altitude, and I was at 350. Any good advice for me? The strange part is that in Strava everything seems okay. A bit desperate now since I have a GPS watch with a GPS that won’t work

@sindre-svellingen Tried to restart or even reset the watch?

@aeroild I have done both.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I’ll try a bit more just to be sure it’s not me, but find it very strange that it suddenly won’t find GPS. Is there any way to force install the latest update again to see if it was a faulty installation? Could it be water in the baro-holes making it act up? Seeing very strange altitudes. I get 3818 meters now when I’m at 215 meters. Don’t want to bother Suunto sending it in if it’s not a faulty watch
