Update time in Europe?
-
@nigel-taylor-0 maybe was not synced before the update
-
@jantikainen I have been trying my best. I had sleep avg hr 77 bpm and quality 10 typically.
Food and beer late at night didn’t help.
Now I eat and drink in the evening. Like a Dutch person not Greek style anymore.

Seems we also got the march 2021 security update.
Genuine question. Are there any other WearOS watches where the users have been given this many meaningful updates? For the longest time I felt like AndroidWear/WearOS manufacturers operated under the “dump and run” motto.

Most likely this was it (although the data is there in the graphs?!).
I’m pretty sure I’ll only get duff data for today, so all ok with that…it looks like the watch has suddenly become VERY complete
Daily step, sleep, calories, body battery + heart rate tracking, the best, most visibly useful in-activity maps of any activity watch, Google Pay, all on a beautifully vibrant screen…
…and a hint of sensor support in the first party app coming along in future. If Suunto can keep these updates coming, they can be in a very strong starting position in the future if and when the h/w catches up with lower power processors and better battery life.
I would update to a future Suunto 7+ device with 7 day regular battery life and 18hrs of GPS tracking (24hrs in “Good”!?) in a heart beat.

All displaying now (although the ‘totals’ are ‘from the time of the update’).
It does seem like there should be extra tabs in the Diary section for selecting Heart Rate and Resources (similar to the new Sleep section)…otherwise there is no way to just glance at Heart or Resources data over a number of days to get trends??
-
@nigel-taylor-0 why would you need a daily HR trend? Take a look at the sleep HR now instead. That is what is important.
-
@isazi How to do that?
-
@aleksander-h How to do that trick?

We don’t have that until tomorrow!
Does sleep HR appear in the historic summary if you click [Diary][Sleep Icon], or do you get ‘hrs of sleep’ ??
-
@nigel-taylor-0 here is how it will look. (check also the granularity toggle)
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Thanks, that is exactly what I was hoping for

@aleksander-h
Is yours matching your watch?
I find that steps and calaries aren’t matching watch.
Have a couple of issues:
Steps on watch are 837, but diary step section is showing 135 which is also what the steps ssection in today is showing.
Calories on watch are 58. Diary calorie section is showing 50 (can live with small difference, even though just synced, but today is showing 10!!!
There is something seriously wrong here…Have reset phone app and uninstalled and reinstalled - same issue.
Suunto phone app - Android: Version 4.38.1 release (4038001) -
@jamie-bg slightly off here. I’m assuming that I simply didn’t sync before the update. So probably lost a few stats due to that. I wouldn’t worry unless we see the same thing tomorrow.
-
@olymay The limit is now 10 tiles!
-
I’m just surprised (positively) with such a beautiful design on the new S7 features… could we expect same concepts in SA? it could be wonderfull
BR
-
@brad_olwin so it is! Although it’s unlikely I’ll need that many, as I only have four set currently (up from three previously!).
It’s nice to have the option to have more though

Went for a short run after the update and now since the hr is true 24/7 the watch picked my hr immediately when launching the Suunto app. Before the update it usually took a while.
NICE!!! -

NICE!!!Noticed this and made me happy!!
Also - do we know if the GPS services were updated somehow?
When running locally, I usually start the App as I leave my front door, and I get a GPS lock by the time I’ve walked to the corner about 75metres away (sometimes have to wait a bit when I get there, but it never gets the lock until I’m at least half way there), and then I start my runs from there.
Just now, I started app at same place as usual, and GPS lock happened within 10metres. That NEVER happens!!

Wasn’t coming for me here in the UK but I have it now. Just keep checking and when it says up to date just recheck, do that a few times and it will start the download. Well it did for me

@isazi yes it changes colour and brightness as the sun sets. Really clever, I love this watch face. Not sure how much of a battery hog it will be though?
