UV index complication rolling out for WearOS

@aleksander-h I suspect that if its available as a complication it probably means the weather tile will be updated to include it, and or it should be updated in the near future to include it.

The weather tile hasn’t been updated to include UV with the update I’ve just taken which updates the Weather app and adds the extra UV complication.
Bit odd as the Weather app has been updated, but you only get the current UV rather than it being listed in the hourly forecast.
It would seem natural to put that glancable current UV data on the tile??

@aleksander-h already implemented as far as I can see.

According to this page, anything above a UV index of 2 requires sun cream. Nice info to have on the watch face!

I noticed the update on mine yesterday (it may have been sooner, but this is when I checked for it).
The tile does not show the UV index info, but the main weather app and complication do.
It appears to me that the main weather app shows the MAX the UV index is forecast to reach that particular day, and the complication shows the CURRENT UV index for that particular time.
Is anyone able to confirm this? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

It seems the complication is reporting lower numbers than the Norwegian weather service is for UV. My watch says UV 2, meaning sun cream isn’t needed. Norwegian weather service is saying UV 3 which means do wearsun cream That’s a shame. I guess I should pester the weather service here to make their own complication for UV. They’ve already got one for weather on WearOS.

Pretty sure thats correct on the app, as just after midnight I noticed it suggested UV = 4 !
(not tried the complication, I don’t want to sacrifice my current selection!) -

It seems that 3 different weather services will report 3 different UV indexes.

@pilleus yup. But my trust is highest for the one with offices only a few km from my apartment
