Smart sensor belt does not seem to pick up correct heart rate or sometimes nothing at all. Belt is about a year old. Is there a shelf life for these? The belt has been washed, I wet the patches before use and new battery in the sensor itself but still not working

@aksta70 Probably you need replace the battery in sensor. Sensors using bluetooth for communication are definitely more energy-consuming than ant+

@aksta70 I think you did everything possible. I noticed some belt work better if you wet the patches with salt water or conductive gel
Sounds to me like a broken belt. It shouldn’t happen after a year but isn’t impossible.

Do you roll up or bend the belt sometimes to storage it?
