How to edit a move in suunto app?
-
So the day has come - I’m in the Suunto App
The first day and the second question. How can I change things like the elevation gain (or others) for a move imported from the watch? I can see that I can change some basic elements like distance or time but not much else. -

Correct.

@sartoric do you mean that there’s no option of changing those? Thank you for clarification

@kuba-sarata
Yes, atm elevation can’t be modified -
@sartoric thank you for the confirmation. We are sooooo doomed with this app

Well, I disagree. If you have a major correction to make, you can import .fit files into SA from Quantified Self. So you can fix your data in Strava or other apps then re-import back into SA to correct it. I’ve done this when necessary but it is rare as the data are typically fine. Rarely I forget to stop the watch and that is when I’ll have to fix.

@brad_olwin thanks for sharing this option. This would be a good idea for syncing new moves, that’s right.
I’m not sure though how the historical data imported from MC behaved and it’s impossible now to find all of the errors. Maybe you know were the moves imported from the data entered to MC or somehow from the raw files imported from the watch?
At the same time - just clicking ‘edit’ and entering a correct value is still much much easier -
@kuba-sarata The historical data should be fine, if you had errors in the historical data those errors were transferred.

With all the good I want in Suunto, but will such a solution be practical rather than allowing the manual modification of each value?!?! -

The import was tested and unlikely to result in errors. There is information that does not transfer. I understand why you may want adjustment of values but this is how the app is currently set.
