MOUNTAINEERING MODE

Hello guys!
Can you tell me please, what does the rhythm icon indicates when I use Mountaineering mode in my Suunto 5? I don´t undestand the numbers I see when I use this mode. It moves between 0 and 900 hundred or so…even negative!!! It is completely different in other sports modes like hiking or running.

@lalo upper left is indeed vertical speed icon. Also on the first few pages of suunto manual there is a description of all icons ( in case you’re unsertain about smth else).
