      Hi folks,
I’m new within the Suunto Community and happy with my brandnew Suunto 7 😁

      But…
there is one a bit annoying thing:
I set the energy option like mentioned in the manual:

      • Keep Power saver tilt on
      • Keep Tilt-to-wake off
      • Keep Always-on screen turned off

Mostly everything is fine but after a while turning my wrist won’t show the low-power version of the used “Heatmaps watch face”. The display stays dark. The only way to activate something is touching the Display several times…

Is that a normal behavior or is that something to investigate ??

      Thanks in advance!!
      Reimar

@kasperle Try a soft reboot and see if that helps. Long press upper left button for 12s until the watch restarts.

@kasperle My experience with the power saver tilt simply brightens the low power display a little when you tilt the watch up to look at it (useful when outside but less so inside I find). It will not show any extra information such as the heatmap etc.

I currently have the power saver tilt disabled as it can interfere with following a route when tracking an activity.

@Brad_Olwin I’ll try that… maybe there’s a connection between the reported behavior and notifications… I continue to observe this issue and report again 😉

this is a known bug I think.

                What happens is this.

You change the settings to what you want A. -> All work ok.

then you open Suunto app on the watch and the Suunto app remembers that setting

You change the setting to something else B

You open suunto app and once you close it it restores setting A instead of B

To over come this you need to reboot the watch as it wipes out the setting that Suunto app remembers and sets back every time you open / close it
