Still access data from Ambit2-s watch?

I have an Ambit2-s watch that I use for water-sports (kitesurfing), skiing, and a few other sports.
I see that they are not orphaning this from their new software & app.
I do not use their apps & MovesCount for anything other than a quick look and then exporting to .kml for importing into Google Earth.
Even if Suunto does not support this watch, are there other 3rd party programs that can do this, so I could continue to use this watch?

@guthrie My wife still use Ambit2, you can sync SA to Runalyze and from there export to .kml, if that is the question.
