Get the itineraries library transferred onto the app
-
hello
how can I get my library of itineraries transferred from Movescount to the Suunto App?
thanks for your help -
@mjoncheres
I think you can request global data export from MC, in which you will find your routes/itineraries in .gpx format.
And then you can register in quantified.seld.io, connect with your SA account and import in mass all your gpx.
https://quantified-self.io/
And route will appear in SA -

thank you but how can I ask request global data export from MC?
Does Suunto stop MC without allowing to transfer all data (not only the moves) to the app? -
@mjoncheres ok 2 thnings here:
- For importing all your history go to suunto app -> partner connections and connect MC.
- For the routes you will need to export all your data and do what @Mff73 said. You will find the export all data button at movescount http://www.movescount.com/settings#export

ok, I did as you said on MC and got the following answer: “An email will be sent within 30 days with a link to download all of your data.”
is it a joke? -
@mjoncheres
No
It isn’t -
You stop MC on Oct 13 (as per the mail received today). How will I proceed to the transfer if the required link is sent in 30 days?
-
@mjoncheres the transfer to Suunto app is not related to this.
Your data will be exported in Max 30 days. The movescount website will still be available for that. Just syncing wont work and analysis

@mjoncheres
It says 30 days max, thus it can take 30 days (but each time I did it, it took 1 or 2 days max). Maybe these days more people will queue with this.
Let see -
ok now I have received the link to a file of data, I have registered on Quantified Self and uploaded routes.
how then do I connect the Suunto App with Quantified Self?
thank you -
@mjoncheres in QS go to “services” (menu button in the top left).
