      Hi there,
Is it possible to change the battery in Suunto 5/9?
What is the number of battery charge cycles supported?

battery can only be replaced by the Suunto service center.
there is no hard number of charging cycles after wich the battery will be dead.
Battery life depends on so many things like temperature, charging current (which is low in the watches), age, cycles, etc.
the Sunnto 5/9 are pretty new on the market, if not defective by default, they will last for years (based on charging like every few days).

There is a procedure explained in the forum for battery calibration (you will need to search). I will try this in order to be sure that the battery is defective

Simply go to 100% and then to 0% and then back to 100%
