Transferring MC moves to Suunto app does not work…
Hello, I’ve been waiting 48 hours for my moves to be transferred from MC to Suunto app…nothing happens and my diary is still blank. The moves should still appear as they come in, or does everything come in one block? I also installed the Sports Tracker app and I got 410 moves out of 550 in about 10min (?!). Isn’t there any way to know if this transfer is in progress or not? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
Some questions to understand where you are.
1- Have you installed SuuntoApp ?
2- Have you created the connection in SuuntoApp with Movescount (this connection is not a real connection for new moves sync, but a one-shot transfer from Movescount database to SuuntoApp one) ?
3- If you see activities in Sporttracker, you should see them in SuuntoApp, eventually first try to desinstall SuuntoApp and reinstall it, as a first step. -
Hi, thank’s for the answer. Try it (been trying many thing s since 2 days)…now i’ve got my periode from july 2019 till april 2020 with no data…tired of it. No way to use another app with ambit 3 peak ?

The problem is that MC don’t show global stats anymore (since start of june?) and it s a problem now to stay on MC…but if i can’t export my data i’m locked nowhere ! Can i do it “manualy” with the data export by email from MC ?

@zemarcoo29 I believe that you should get an email when the move from MC to SA is done. Did you get it? Can someone confirm this is how the procedure works?

@isazi
I can confirm, an email will be sent when all moves will be transfered.
But i really don’t know if moves can be seen with no data during the transfer, and be corrected at the end.@zemarcoo29
wait a little bit for this suunto mail to come and confirm it is finished. if it arrives and still moves data issue, for sure, there will be support help needed. if it doesn’t arrive “soon”, support should be requested as well.Your MC data export cannot be imported manually into SA for now, eventually one day, but no info yet.
But it is good to have saved it somewhere -
Hi, I think i understand the mistake. I probably export my data in july 2019 by mistake. I was surching for a track in an hotel in Germany and had no access to a computer. I probably export my data by using Suunto app at this time and have no idea could never repeat it ! Then i have a lack of data from july 2019 untill recent time (last things i still have in the watch are ok). Good to know that you can ONLY export one time ! I probably had a confirmation mail but in spam and delete after few days…that’s it ! let’s put it one by one…thnak’s for help.

@zemarcoo29 You can create another account in SA and get everything to transfer. You will need to make sure all is in MC first.

The problem is not the SA account, but the original MC account which is now flagged as “transfered to SA”.
Whatever the SA account, it won’t transfer anymore (except negociate with the support). -
