Suunto 7 vs Google fit
-
Ok I ve just checked and this is happening each time. I ve done the run three times since I got this watch and each time my suunto 7 records one distance/time and google fit says another.
Ok just checked my HR and its different too and its not because of a HR belt
I use a Samsung galaxy s10 so its the android app
-
Iβm recording an activity now to check.
-
Donβt worry, Google Fit is never correct! Sometimes the distance will be adjusted hours later in Google Fit. Sometimes.

-
After finishing the activity found out my Suunto recorded activities are not on Fit

-
@isazi if the sync to Fit is enabled, it can take up to two or three hours until the activity is showing up in Google Fit.

-
@pilleus its the same activity mostly. The map everything is the same. The stats however are not. I ve done the same route 3 times in the last couple of weeks and the stats are different between the two apps each time
-
@meyton89 you can sync from Suunto to Strava and resync with SyncMyTracks to Google Fit. Then the data will be correct. Always.

-
@pilleus I only use Google fit because of the limitations of the Suunto app. If Strava takes it all then I will stick to strava

-
@meyton89 no steps, no 24hr heart rate in Strava, only activities. Suunto wear app, Strava and Fit are needed to have all data in Fit.

@pilleus said in Suunto 7 vs Google fit:

Is there a reason why not to sync from Suunto App to Fit directly using Syncmytracks?
-
@Egika no, itβs possible too. But itβs new and I didnβt change it until now.
For me itβs different, because I use Suunto Spartan Ultra, Ticwatch Pro 2020 and Amazfit Stratos 3 for different sports. And all watches sync to Strava and then I use SyncMyTracks to sync to Google Fit.
-
@Egika I sync like that (without using Strava), and itβs working fine.

Guys, there is setting in Google Fit to enable automatic fitness tracking - do you have this option turned on?
