Watch alarms
-
@Meneillos Yes one alarm. But you can independently configure sunrise/sunset alarms and for variable times before/after sunset. There is also a timer that can be configured. If you need more alarms, I would get a smartwatch or use a phone.
-
Yes , very good answers… You can also carry another watch for alarm …
-
I don’t think that multiple alarms are the main purpose of a sportwatch
-
Or get rid of the 5 and go get a budget Garmin or Polar that will have more features and be able to serve as a multipurpose daily watch…
-
@zrumlow very constructive comment.
-
@isazi I mean I am being serious. If the OP just purchased the watch and the commenter states that this feature is not one commonly found in GPS watches, I am simply suggesting that OP possibly looks into returning the watch for a watch with a more robust feature set.

Thanks for the sunrise/sunset tips! For the rest, if your answer to the questions is “buy another watch”, I better don’t ask here anything never again. Good help, keep going…

@Meneillos
keep asking, we are a bunch of friendly and helpful people -

@sartoric
the majority of us is friendly
… most of the time -
@Meneillos please forgive the users who replied to you “buy another watch”. They are not angry at you, I am sure of that, they are just angry at Suunto and inadvertently vented their frustration on you.
-
AFAIK having only one alarm was always like that in Suunto watches since the Ambit 1.
-
as I see it, one is already too much. Using the smartphone, I don’t know what I should do with it
-
And also , you can not use stopwatch and timer in same time for suunto 9
