Suunto 7: no auto-pause?!?!
-
u’re right. No auto pause
-
manual-pause is fine for suunto,
you don’t need to require everything -
@Luke-Fowler I have the same problem, so I deactivated the touch (but not locked it) and use the buttons to pause / see the other screens…
-
I’m pretty sure it will get added in future updates. Way before customizable sports modes or intervals
-
@jean-william-cousin how do you deactivate touch without locking the watch? When I lock it locks both the touch and the buttons, I can’t find a way to only disable the touch screen?? (I’m using “Running basic” mode)
-
@Luke-Fowler I do that in WearOS, not in the Suunto App. If you deactivate the touch to wake “globally”, and don;t use the always on screen, then you’re (almost) good to go
-
@jean-william-cousin I use it in the same way. Accidentally touch is avoided, turning the wrist will show the full screen and buttons for pause and resume are available.
-
There’s an auto pause function if you start a run from the suunto app on the phone. There’s also a ghost target function. But if I start the run in the app it won’t show up on the watch, right?
-
@Dominik-Moser yes, no possibility to see the data on the watch. The Suunto app on the phone is only for syncing the activities from the S7 into the Suunto app.
-
@pilleus hm, that’s a pity. I’m really missing the ghost target function…

Ghostracer is an option
