Maybe the discussion is getting a little bit off-topic now.
Yes, you are correct. HP is my machine, 2 ASUS laptops are from my family. Will use HP for MovesCount…case closed…
Try to clean up the browser (cache clean, etc)

Mathias has some good points here and I am so close to getting Grit X (or staying with V800) and get back to proper experience with the Polar Flow and much lighter watch (I guess better OHR). The new one has also calories burn divided (fat, carbs, proteins) even better than what I suggested to Dimitrios for QS.
Although Dimitrios is doing a great job QS it will always be missing the settings part for a watch that can sync over Suuntolink.
Details and comparison of activities on a phone are clumsy and impractical.
Additional screens - I have been writing about that since I got the watch, 5 months, still nothing. If I add a graph screen I have to sacrifice 4-5 other parameters I could have set to see. And freaking Sunday as a start of the week…I have been waiting for 5 months for that fix…but nothing. I guess it is not important. I don’t get it, a European company, is it in Finland a Sunday the first day in a week?
I also miss a tap on the screen to change the screen from V800, now during the run I have to be careful not to press upper or lower button. The settings I would do for particular sport in web interface would be synced and “remembered”, memorized for that activity.
Now, for every activity I repeat the same procedure on the watch itself, for example Indoor cycling: I have to turn off Wrist HR, set Suunto Plus and battery I think…every time I do that activity. Why doesn’t it remember settings from the last time activity was used.
I also listed my S9B for a sale with the lowest price globally, but I guess nobody wants it

@Cuba1hr I really like my S9, best watch I ever had, so much I sold my Fenix 6 few weeks ago because compared to my S9 it was useless. So we have different experiences, because we’re different people.
-
I also like it as a watch better than my previous, but there are so many areas to improve/add and you have to have in mind that it isn’t the new watch. I doubt the most of those features will arrive on S9’s successor, I guess minor improvements…maybe maps as a surprise, OLED.
Those minor things that SHOULD be easily fixable-activity setting memory and more screens…I don’t know why those features for SuuntoPlus arrive so slowly.
I don’t get it why not more than 3-4 screens if it was possible on the Movescount, how long we have to wait for something that was already available. That survey for SuuntoPlus had so many good stuff to choose (Climb pro, race pacer…).
Let them add race pace, tweak Firstbeats battery consumption and change the day of a week (why greyed out on a Watch if synced via app).
I don’t think I ask for much. That would do it for me. Of course I would like web interface, dedicated light button and 30 grams less, but that’s not gonna happen. -
Hello.
Few news from me.
-
Monhtly summary and click on next and previous works now, also under the number of moves, icons ares shown with all values. No changes from me, just works on my NUC pc again and one ASUS (did not try onother ASUS).
-
I transfered all moves from Movescount to SA and to QS and I was very happy, until I have noticed some incorrect data at altitude in SA. Sorry to say but this is crap and I can not repeat this transfer. I discover this when compared yearly summary in Movescount and SA. Now, some moves have correct altitude, some not. Veeeeeeery sad about that. screenschot is from QS. movescount 1028. SA 1475

@Marcin-Byrtek That’s exactly what I did. I found resetting the watch on the web page helped with reconnecting to the MC app. I use my Ultra mainly as a hiking watch. So waypoints and POIs are important functions. I’m not convinced that Suunto will migrate those functions, the sport tracker web site is little more tan an on-line calendar as far as I can see.

@zvonejan
What about real SA cycling Ascent stat ?
QS is QS, SA is SA, even if QS has imported your SA activities, maybe … -
QS and SA are the same. Movescount to SA was incorrect and then that error was transferred to the QS

Any chance of a “side by side” review/comparison in another topic ?
-
@André-Faria I would be interested in that as well. The Fenix 6 is on my short list of possible replacements for my Spartan later this year.
-
@RiphRaph @André-Faria guys if you want I can give you my opinion in another thread about using both watches (S9 and F6) for two months, but I’m no preacher and I’m not paid by any of these companies, so it is just my humble opinion, and it’s about what I need and my use cases.
-
Yes plase!!!
-
@isazi I would love to hear your thoughts!
-
@RiphRaph okay, let me find some time later or tomorrow.
