Screen protector?
-
I was wondering if people use a screen protector with their S7.
There is an old discussion in the forum about using it for the S9, but I am wondering how well the S7 touchscreen works, and how the screen looks with a protector.
-
I use some “tempred glass” form aliexpres for S9 and it fits. The touchscreen works well, no changes I gues.

@isazi I have had my S7 since early fall and worn it extensively, banged it into walls, fallen while trail running, etc. Just like any other Suunto I have. No scratches on the bezel or the glass. IMHO you do not need a screen protector. I can post photos if you like.

Yes please, do some “watch porn” posting -
I’ve had the S7 for about 5 weeks and have had the opposite experience: the casing has endured well but I somehow got a scratch on the screen fairly quickly (something that never happened with previous Garmin watches). I have since bought a glass screen protector from amazon but it hasn’t stuck down well so will try a different one.

To show this is in real time
To show I use it
To show no scratches

I have it.
I also have it on SSU and S9, both in sapphire, on S7 I consider it necessary.
Perhaps as @Brad_Olwin says it is not, but they cost very little and do not detract from beauty and usability.
It doesn’t happen … but if it happens … -
@Saketo-Nemo if it happens, there will be a scratch in the display. No big deal, it will continue to work as before.

you’re probably right, I’m just a little bit crazy, I like to think that a little glass can make the difference in a more important “bang”. Knowing that my screen is immaculate under the protective glass makes me feel at peace with myself
