Does the Suunto 7 work with chargers designed for other Suunto watches?

@mjposner according to the description (just scroll down the website) it is.
My experience with no-name-solutions (a cable) is, that they might not be perfect (contacts too long, magnet not as strong as the Suunto), but work without issues. -
@mjposner No, I don’t think so. The charging base for S9 and all and Suunto 7 are visibly different. I don’t think you gonna get your pins aligned properly. There’s a reason they sell spare cables for S7

Posted a question on Amazon let’s see what response I get. They do not sell spare cables because 3rd part cables do not work, they sell them to make extra money ($37 for a $5 cable??)

@mjposner I’m not arguing they are selling to make money, hence a smirk at the end. That being said, I couldn’t charge S7 with my S9 cable when I tried (I think I tried a few months ago and ended up procuring said $37 cable). So, I seriously doubt this stand designed for things other than S7 would work.

@mjposner The only cable that works is the S7 one, I have the other charging cables and none of them will work. This is for the Spartan/9 series and I am surprised that it would work with the 5.
