Never again - Suunto sucks
-
Suunto‘s Apps (Movescount, Suunto App) are mediocre. What really sucks is that Movescount data is only once synchronized with Suunto App and that there is no option to use Suunto App with older watches without Bluetooth such as my Ambit.
I will never again buy a Suunto product and I will recommend the same to all my friends.
Check Garmin, significantly better and much more customer friendly.

I’m not here for sure to be the “devil’s advocate” but … Really ?!
How do you think your ant+ watch can wirelessly connect to a phone (considering that not even all the phones out there now support ant+) ? As far as I know, even Garmin connect doesn’t support Ant+ nativelyThat said, you probably have to read the last part of this : https://forum.suunto.com/topic/2382/april-transition-update/2 and since you said
Suunto‘s Apps (Movescount, Suunto App) are mediocre.
you should be happy that you can stick to Movescount web (or whatever will be the name).
Personal comment, about your kind of comment
You’re using a 8 years old watch without issues afaiu … not that bad or that “suck” , isn’t it ? -
@Georg-Kasperkovitz This is a community to help and engage the users. While airing your opinion is fine perhaps you can find a more constructive way to do it. We are not here to check Garmin as we are Suunto users.
On your point about older Ambit watches. Suunto has not closed Movescount yet and has stated they are working on a solution that I expect will be in place when Movescount is shut down. I think you should wait until Suunto implements whatever they are planning. Because your watch does not have BT I would continue using MC until you know more.
I also disagree with your statement about Garmin, I can provide examples but that is not the purpose of this forum.
