      @JANTIKAINEN I’m really interested in those two spots (middle and end) where sensors disagreed. Do you feel OH1 was right? What was happening on the route?

        @NickK
        The middle part is a section where’s lot of pedestrians crossing the bike lane so this is probably the slowest part of the route. I think the reality could be somewhere between the 2 readings.

        The end part is strange. The highest OH1 peak is the peak of not so steep uphill. Looks like S7 comes a bit behind but doesn’t reach as high. At the very end where S7 goes down is actually correct, since I’ve already stopped but OH1 still makes a bump up.

          Here are three comparisons for HR with S7 and S9 using the Suunto Smartsensor. One is SkiTouring and two are intervals for trail running. Temp for ski was -3C and for running was not above 5C.

            @Brad_Olwin yes, kind of, but I would like things in different places

              Fair enough but, realistically is it just convenience where the fields are? For priorities I would rather have adjustable zones and route import long before we have screen customization. The current modes are not ideal for me but they work well enough.

                we are getting slightly off-topic here, shall we put all those OHR comparisons in another topic?

                I’m just watching the his review video about the S7. Highly interesting for me to see all those menus and stuff. And I really agree with some stuff he says. But I’m also quite sure some of the issues will be solved.

                  @jthomi yes I think a separate section for OHR is a good idea. 👍

                        @NickK Coincidentally enough, I had purchased a Venu, and as of today it is packed in the return box with the UPS label ready to be sent back to Amazon. I gave it an honest go with the Garmin Venu, but too many features missing (such as basic audio prompts at each kilometre to announce pace, duration and distance).
                        Now I am back to looking at the Suunto 7, but so many negative comments, I may just wait out Samsung to see what the Galaxy Watch 2 has in store.
