Is there anyy Official info how to move all data from Movescount to Suunto App?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos , when keeping those clickbait links, doesn’t that make the mission of the spam account kind of… complete ?
-
@Mff73 I contactet support 3 months ago. Every month they get back to me thanking for my patience and asking the same questions:
OS version
Suunto App version
Movescount version
etc.
They’ve done nothing so far to help me. I’m afraid there’s no way to transfer missing moves from Movescount to Suunto App. I’m very dissapointed with their support and I’m considering changing my watch and buying some product from competition as I’ve lost my moves, anyhow. I don’t understand their attitude to their customers. Somebody buys a Suunto device, uses it, they change software, you loose your moves and what they say? They don’t care -
@Maciej
I’m not sure if the complete upload of MC history to SA is “already” open for Ambit series… but when I was still using my Ambit only, I noticed anything before 2018 was not loaded into SA.
I would not worry too much yet.
You still see your data in MC, right? -
@TELE-HO in MC yes, I do but this is one shot transfer so doing it there’s no second chance.
-
@Maciej
Bad news.
How many moves are you missing ? -
@Mff73
bad news means MC to SA transfer is completed for Ambit watches, too? I did not catch that as I upgraded to S9B and got the upload imediately.how about creating a second SA account and give it another try?
-
This post is deleted! -
@TELE-HO You can’t. I have already tried. “You have already transfered your moves to another account. it can be done only once”.

Not possible : MC account is now flagged as “Synced” and it is only one shot.

@Mff73
looks like @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is the best address for @Maciej -
@TELE-HO
i can’t say better thing -
@Maciej if I can remember correctly I transfer my moves to SA via MC -> Sport Tracker link… way before Suunto introduce direct MC -> SA transfer.
-
@nseslija
if I remember correct this is what created gaps in the alti graph -
@nseslija how exactly did you do that?
-
@Maciej I just linked MC to ST account (which is the same as SA account). I am not sure if it’s possible now, and would you have duplicate moves because you have already transferred some moves to SA…
-
@Maciej
I would kindly ask Dimitrios for his gracious help
…better than moving away from Suunto -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos any idea how to fix it?
-
I sorted it out. I exported missing moves from MC to ST manually and then ST synchronised automatically with SA adding missing moves No duplicates. It took some time but I won’t loose my moves.
-
@Maciej
but this should not be a manual thing IMHO -
@TELE-HO you’re right but how long can I wait. It didn’t make any sense for me since I’ve been waiting for 3 months and the only thing I get from Suunto support is the same question about my software version.
