How to send routes to Suunto 7
-
Hey hi Ole, atm the Suunto 7 does not support route sync yet
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thank you.
-
@Ole-Jacob-Følling I am sure Suunto wont let us alone in this

@Ole-Jacob-Følling If it’s just route-following you’re after (and in a hurry), you can use other WearOS apps that will accept SA-generated routes.
It’s a bit of a workaround and almost certainly has a greater battery hit than the Suunto system. Exactly how much greater is currently being researched by Top Individuals.

@Fenr1r what other apps will do this?
-
@Storz I haven’t done it myself but others here have found that ViewRanger works. There may be others. Good luck and may GNSS go with you.
-
Hopefully routes will become an official Suunto release

For what I’m reading people is using third party apps for two main reason, sensor and routes support.
Wouldn’t be nice to have these features in the Suunto app in WearOS?
-
@Bulkan Routes are coming. Certain friendly leakers hinted as much. Sensors… I don’t have much hope. I think this has been discussed in other Suunto 7 topics.

I have several routes stored in Suunto App on the smartphone. So I installed the smartphone Suunto App on the S7 via ADB and sideload. I can log in, have all the functionality but no routes are showing up in the routes section. My idea was to choose the route out of the Suunto App and start then the S7 app hoping to pick up the route.
But no luck!
