        @alberto-yoldi the same here. In terms of design it’s descent looking, elegant yet to fragile for me (apart from formal meetings/suit & tie clothing occasions). Still pretty excited that it brings new functionalities that I’d love to see on Spartan (mainly wrist based HR series).

              I see this product for people who make indoor activities such as treadmill, spinning fitness, cardio, gym, etc and also want a beautiful daily watch.

                @brad_olwin I’m convinced that Suunto 3 will have support for footpods like Stryd, Milestone or Runscribe and any that have bluetooth 4.x. And will permit that you can save the route having it paired with the smartphone. It will make sense for occasional activities.

                    Yes, it will be great if it’s compatible to footpod.
                    Or, it can use the gps of the phone like the Polar A370.

                          Those pics you can see on the DCRainmaker page from the software, is this a complete new one? Only available right now on the coming S3F? So, when S3F is launched, there may be a firmware update for Spartan similar to this?

                                @jthomi yes, i’m more interest to see features. If it will be on 4th April or 17th is less relevant.

                                  @luís-pinto Thats right, looking forward to the release, and since there are 4 updates in a year, every 3 months, there could be a new firmware just around the corner!

                                        @luís-pinto only Suunto knows.
                                        As @slashas said should be this quarter.
                                        Be patient and you will have the pleasure to discover the new features soon 😁

                                          Strange they remove that Suunto 3 will be launched at 4th April… Now they say “Suunto 3 Fitness will be launched globally later this spring”. So it means that can be launched in June. Personally i don’t care. Delays with Suunto App and NFC pay?

                                            My watch is working well for what I need. As I transition into more ultramarathon training for this summer I would like to have structured workouts implemented. That is the sole major upgrade I think a lot of folks are looking for…and my wish is that Suunto sneaks in power functionality that looks just like HR, so we can use our zone screens for either power or HR, depending on the sport. One other minor thing is to get the waypoints implemented with names. With that I would not need any other updates.
