Where is the POIs functionality supposed to be in the October update?
-
@djibarian what I read on this forum is that POI functionality for SA is planned for January 2020.
-
That’s not going to happen in a watch firmware update. It will happen in a future Suunto app update, which afaik is planned to hit the beta stage in January.
In the meantime, I’ve been using Suunto app on my phone and Movescount on the desktop (but not the phone app) to maintain full POI functionality with my Spartan Ultra.
-
@ianshowalter I installed Moveslink2 in the desktop to try to sync with Movescount web and nothing happens when I connect the watch via USB.
-
@djibarian
Which watch do you have ? -
Suunto 9 Baro
-
@djibarian
You need Movescount App if you want to send data to MC and you’ve already customized sport modes.
Search the forum for “parallel use” -
Yes but then how come I can use Movescount on the desktop as suggested by @ianshowalter?

Now we know your watch model, the answer is : use Suuntolink and not Moveslink2 for S9
it should work better to sync on desktop. -
@djibarian
So for desktop do you mean “cable sync” ? -
Yes, cable sync. Now I connected the watch via USB to the computer (something already do in a regular basis) via Suuntolink. Suuntolink everything is up to date. Then I go to Movescount.com and there is nothing there. No moves, no watches, nothing.

@djibarian
Because you’ve probably customized sport modes or routes in SASo you need to search the forum for “parallel use” and start using MC App
-
Where to look for “parallel use”? In the watch settings, Suuntolink or Movescount webapp?
-
@djibarian in the forum.

Ok thanks.
