      How to turn off auto lap in Suunto 9 baro? It would have been desirable if it could be done in the same place as the auto break on the clock.

        @KnutB when you have chosen the activity on the watch, e.g. basic run, wait a second and than tap/stroke at the bottom of your screen, where you see options, there you find auto lap (and more to de/activate). For me it is rather efficient to partially adapt the activity type before using it - btw: the watch usually keeps whatever value you have activated in these options

        using a Suunto Vertical & Suunto Wings; mostly running (AKA stomping around) and cycling mostly through the northern german "wilderness"

            No…should be added to my wishlist

              @KnutB I think it is possible. While you are in a workout, press middle button for some seconds an a menu with options will appear. Then change ongoing workout settings (at least, some of then)

                @suzzlo it’s not a listed option. I’m guessing due to the nuances of nested laps?

                  I think the reason why auto lap is not in any list when the activity is started. Is because it must match the number of kilometers from the start. But it would have been desirable to be able to turn off auto lap once the activity started if you don’t want it.

                    @KnutB
                    I think we should decide before the activity if we want specific autolaps or manual laps…
                    for running activities I don’t mind autolaps. Never ever used them in Ambit but like to see them in the S9B and I start making use of them and understand the benefit of laps.
                    I could not imagine to use them for skitouring but there they make sense as I will know about the ascent rate in m/h since the last lap. But I’m not sure if I prefer this or a manual lap for each bigger climb. I think it depends on the alti profile the skitour will be… maybe for one big climb the autolaps and for a tour that has some more climbs and descents inbetween the manual laps… it’s better to see how I slow down after each climb 😂

                        @TELE-HO if I’m doing intervals I have no real reason to see every mile marked as an auto lap (and hey, sometimes I forget lol)…would be nice to turn it off instead of having to sift through the laps when I go back to do analysis.
