Removing Duplicates... UI problems 1
-
There are really really zillions of user interface problems.
Suunto App on iOS:
-
if I go and edit a move, and delete it there, the move gets deleted and I’m back in the list -> but not at the day/month I was -> I get to the top of the list…
-
if I delete a move in Sports-tracker.com -> it stays in the Suunto App. The trying to edit the move, fails with a message. -> But, how do I delete this move???
-
I can’t simply scroll around in the timeline, I need to page backwards in time after a few moves, using a click to ‘load’ more…
-
the site gives me a subset of the fields I see in the suunto app. I have no real idea which of the duplicate moves in Sports-tracker.com corresponds to which duplicate move in the Suunto App. The moves don’t have a unique IDE I could compare.
-
if I have deleted a move in Suunto App, it is still visible in the Sports-tracker.com site. Trying to open a move there in a detail view gives ‘loading…’ without recognizing that the move isn’t available. No timeout. No action…
The usability is alpha-quality for both services… probably not a good idea to roll it out to users. Sports-tracker.com looks like the website was abandoned technology-wise long ago…
-
-
Same here:
SA keeps jumping to the top of the list after editing or deleting a move. Plus it does so randomly while scrolling through the list - seems after loading additional data… -
Maybe I’m missing it but … why are you using Sport-tracker.com ?
-
@Egika I had the same issue when removing duplicates. What helped me a lot was using the filters, that are kept after deleting an activity, so you don’t have to scroll very far to find the next move (you can e.g. filter for March 18, then April 18 etc…) Not ideal but still faster then starting from the top each time!

Because that’s where SA stores your activities.
-
@sartoric because this has been recommended here as a better way to delete moves. sports-tracker.com and the Suunto App are somehow linked…
-
I cant even login to SportsTracker anymore, or I dont get any listing.
Is it just me? -
@jean-william-cousin thanks. Yes, this is what I have started doing already
