Spartan Trainer frozen
-
Bought Spartan Trainer yesterday. Downloaded Suunto Movescount to my phone and synced with the watch. App suggested to download Suunto
s new app as Movescount ends by the end of this year (?). Tried to sync watch with Suunto app and all froze. Upper right button doesn
t help, SuuntoLink neather. Any suggestions? -
@Jaanus77 I think for a soft reset you need to press both upper buttons for 12 sec.
-
For Trainer - upper right 12sec
For 3 fitness and 5 - left and right upper for 12 sec -
@sartoric Thanks…sorry confused Trainer with S3…duh

Yes the thing is this upper button thing (soft reset) doesnt work and also connecting laptop with the cable to the watch using SuuntoLink (Factory reset) doesnt work.
Any other ways? -

Any other ways? What does the watch show now ?

@Jaanus77 If the unit has battery power, wait until it is dead and try again. Otherwise you could contact support
-
The display showes frozen image of the display at the moment it froze.
I think theres still some 75% battery left, so as its not used it will take long time for it to empty.
I think the problem might be that Movescount and new Suunto app both tried to connect with the watch and that crashed something. -
@Jaanus77 That should have been fixed with the last watch firmware updates for all Spartans.

So, the question : Do you know the firmware version of your Trainer ?
The fact you’ve bought it just yesterday unfortunately doesn’t mean that you have the latest one.
You can check this :

If not, afraid that you will have to wait the watch battery to be empty or maybe can it wake up alone before.
