Suunto 7 Wishlist

More than one sensor connectivity. For me, having just 1 bike pod sensor is a big issue. I need to select between Cadence sensor or Speed sensor. Come on Suunto, I want both!

@TELE-HO I would totally buy another ambit 3 peak, in fact it’s the only watch I would buy, but they will kill it with Movescount if the new app doesn’t support all the features Movescount had.

@jacoues i just bought it because of all you’re reasons you wrote.
and movescount still works. and i think suunto will not let die so soon their “workhorse” while so many athletes still you it. and i thought, it is still on sale with all the specifications. otherwise they would changed the features on the shop. (no sportsmode customisation for example). give them time to create the new app. it’s still new. -
@mario_b SA is not that new anymore, it’s been released since April 2018 ,

@zhang965 yep i know! do you know the early days of movescount or garmin connect? 1 year is early for me.

@jacoues
I agree with mario_b, Suunto has tons of Ambit3 users and maybe even more Ambit2 and 1 users. In a recent announcement they said something that these customers will be enjoying their watch also in the future.
The point is that Suunto will not make the majority of their customers angry. They try to enter the market for fancy NFC payment and color touchscreen watches and whatnot… but this market is limited and at the moment ruled by Garmin solely. If Suunto wants to be there in 20 years time, they have to keep up and not just relax on their workhorse called A3. I understand that. And maybe in a bunch of years I will jump onto that touchscreen NFC payment train, too…
But I like this basic watch appearance that hides a perfect watch that does everything and is almost indistructible.
And as a manufacturer you can’t sell a product and don’t support it the next day anymore.Yes they announced the end of MC, but they are working on SA. I don’t mind if they take their time. They better do it right, that’s more sustainable than throwing something cheap and useless onto the market.
And I believe that I will be able to use my brand new A3 still in 5 years with all options and settings.

@TELE-HO i could not say it in a better way.
-
@mario_b Glad to see I’m not the only one who likes the watch. I really hope they update the new app to support all the features.

@jacoues looking at Movescount -> map -> moves - nearly every second move is made with an ambit. So we are not the only ones.
And to answer your starting post on my opinion: when you bring out a watch in 2014 and still selling it in 2019. and people still wanna buy it now. You definitely nailed it. And i am happy that there is not already a ambit 4,5 or 6. otherwise it would outdated very soon. -
And ANT+ support, please!
