Move not syncing with Movescount
-
@Tom-H-Edwards
MC app or web thru Moveslink2? -
I use the Movescount app on my iphone. Tried unpairing and repairing but still nothing.
Had this issue before…love the watch, but this is massive downside to suunto
-
@Tom-H-Edwards
Are you trying to sync now or you did it yesterday ?Because : https://forum.suunto.com/topic/2826/service-maintenance

@Tom-H-Edwards
my wife’s Ambit 3 R has had sync issues last week, too. It worked after unpairing and reconnecting but that was on Android.
I would also try to sync thru the cable directly to the web.I think the service maintenance is only affecting SA, not MC (?!).
-
@sartoric tried yesterday, and still trying now
-
Do you have Suunto App installed on your phone and BT always active ?
-
@sartoric its only active once i open the suunto app. After a ride or run, i stop the ctivity on the watch, then open the suunto app on my iphone…usually syncs with Movescount
-
@Tom-H-Edwards
Ok.
If you sync with SA first, you won’t be able to sync the same activity via MC. -
@sartoric sorry…was meant to say Movescount app, i havent tried suunto app yet

Ok.
If you sync with SA first, you won’t be able to sync the same activity via MC.Well, with Android at least, and if you haven’t used SA sports mode customization you can sync first SA and then MC (mobile or web), in fact is the order that I do, first SA and then MC (MC does not export well the ascent/descent to Strava)
-
@cosmecosta
yes that is true, I also changed my Strava to sync from SA now for exactly the altitude reasons.
